About me

Hey there! I’m Dejan Valek, the founder of Artix Vision studio, based in Novi Sad, Serbia, but available worldwide as a destination wedding and sports photographer. I was born in 1983 in Novi Sad, and my passion for photography began in childhood when I received my first analog camera from my parents. As I grew up, my interest in photography only deepened, and eventually, I turned it into a profession as a wedding photographer. I’ve exhibited my work at numerous exhibitions, I’m a member of the Photo Association of Serbia and the Association of Social Journalists of Vojvodina, and I’ve attended many courses and masterclasses, including a mentoring program at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. One of my favorite achievements is the award I received from National Geographic, when my photograph was published in their magazine. My approach to photography is documentary, focusing on capturing genuine and authentic emotions of the couple. I have a unique editing style with a touch of retro aesthetics, which adds a special warmth and charm to every shot.
